Android Device Exchange

The Android Developer/Community Seeding program has started, the second generation devices are out, and new devices are arriving every month.

If you got a seeding program offer, thats the good news. The bad news is they send a random selection of either a Nexus One (T-mobile/AT&T) or a Droid (Verizon). You might get the one you want/use. If you get unlucky, you can't use the device they send you. Either way, now you probably have an extra Android device.

That is where we come in :) Users can buy, sell or exchange devices with other users here. Just post in the forum with a subject starting with "Sale", "Swap" or "Buy" and the type and condition of the device.  For example, if you got a Droid in the seeding program, you might post "Swap: VZW Droid, unopened, for Nexus One" and put the details in the first post. If you have an old G1 to get rid of, maybe "Sell/Donate: G1, heavily used, $50 OBO" and see if anyone wants to pay for it (or if anyone thinks they are worthy of a donation.)

Important note though: Andblogs is NOT responsible for the actual sale/trade. So be sure you do some research before sending any money, devices, etc.

I'd recommend shipping, but then it comes down to trust, research, etc. Treat it like craig's list maybe..
